Women in Christian communities are often taught that it's our responsibility to control men's sexual desires and appetites. It's assumed that women don't have sexual desire at all, and if we do then we're deemed Jezebels.
This simple, often subtle assumption can disconnect a woman from her desire for decades unless she takes the time to discover and build her own sacred desire.
